Clyde C. Slaughter 77, died Wednesday in San Antonio at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital.
He was born October 1, 1909 in Duffau, Texas and grew up in Roscoe.
He married Lynette Lee of Loraine on November 25, 1933 in Roscoe, Texas.
Before his retirement he was a welder.
Survivors include his wife, Lynette Slaughter of Quemado; two sons, Robert Clyde Slaughter of Eagle Pass and
Michael Byron Slaughter of San Antonio; two daughters, Anna Lee Smith of Del Rio and Lynda Jane Case of Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters, Irene Hyde of Roscoe and Geraldine Jackson of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren, Laurinda, Becky, Randy, Patrick, Cindy, Scott, Lisa and Rhea; five great-children.
