W. Chester Alpaugh, 68, assistant traffic manager at the Treadwell Engineering Co., Palmer Township, died yesterday at 1:45 a. m. in Easton Hospital. He was admitted as a patient Saturday night. He resided at 31 N. 9th St.
Mr. Alpaugh had been employed by the engineering firm for the last 39 years. Born in Trenton, Aug. 20, 1887, he was a son of the late James and Huldah Kugler Alpaugh.
He was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church, Easton.
Surviving are his widow, the former Opal Mae Britton; one son, William C. Alpaugh Jr., of Palmer Township; a sister, Mrs. Charles S. Huff, of Allenhurst, N. J., and one granddaughter.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a. m. at the Bender Funeral Home, Easton.
