A member of San Leandro High School's class of 1977 in San Leandro, California, Toula graduated sixth in her class of 381 students. As an adult, she moved to her ancestral country of Greece and lived there for many years. After being diagnosed with cancer, she returned to the United States for treatment. Sadly, the treatments were unsuccessful. Rest in peace, Toula.

BOGDANOS, TOULA, age 43, of San Leandro, was the dearly beloved wife of Grigoris Chrysoloras; loving daughter of Theodore and Herta Bogdanos of San Leandro; dearest sister of Hans Bogdanos of San Leandro and Elisabeth Bogdanos Charles of Los Angeles; sister-in-law of Curt Charles; devoted Godmother of Artemis Doussi of Athens, Greece; and dear aunt of Alexa and Nathan Charles. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and gourmet foods. Friends were invited to attend the Trisagion service Thursday, August 8, 2002 at 7:00 P.M. at the SANTOS-ROBINSON MORTUARY, 160 Estudillo Ave., San Leandro. The funeral was held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Ascension, 4700 Lincoln Ave., Oakland. Visitation began Thursday 9:00 A.M. to 8:30 P.M.
