Olive was the daughter of Newton Howard Moulton, a farmer, and Clara Roena Stowell Moulton.
Olive was tall, and she had thick, wavy hair and a natural elegance about her. She was a fine dressmaker and milliner. She most likely made the dress she is wearing in the photo.
Her mother left the family when she was a teenager. That must have been incredibly difficult for her.
She wed Charles John Moore at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Manhattan, New York, and they had a very loving marriage. Their beloved daughter Agnes was born in 1915.
Olive lived in the Bronx, New York for many years, and then she followed her daughter to Easton in 1955.
She was a gracious hostess, and she made delicious apple, pumpkin and mincemeat pies.
Olive had three grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, including a deceased great-grandson Bobby, and 12 great-great grandchildren as of early 2012.
Olive sewed a beautiful christening gown for her first grandson. At least nine others in the family have been christened in it. Later in life, she enjoyed making clothes for her great-granddaughters and their dolls.
She adored her family and was very appreciative of anything done for her. She was the sort of grandmother that everyone should have.
Olive is actually buried on her husband's side of the gravestone, and he is buried on hers.
