Truda Estella Law
Truda Estella (Willmon) Law of Rossville died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008. She was 89.
She was born in Grant, Ala.,to the late Lonzo and Ida (Burroughs) Willmon, but lived in Chattanooga, Tenn., and Rossville areas for the past 50 years. She was a member of Scenic Land Holiness Church on Lookout Mountain and worked as a seamstress for Carolyn Chenille, Knitco and Judy Faye Sportswear.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Law; two brothers James and Trumon Willmon; five sisters, Della Guffey, Irene Scott , Verma Wallingsford, Ozell Heatherington, Venola Campbell.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lola and Jerry Legg of Rossville; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Vickie and Jimmy Spurling; several nieces and nephews.
Services; Saturday, Feb. 16, at noon CST at the Grant Memorial Funeral Home chapel with Charles Willmon and Jimmy Spurling officiating. Burial; New Prospect Cemetery. Visitstion; Friday, Feb. 15, after noon CST, and prior to the service Saturday at Grant Funeral Home.
