Mrs. Edna b. Kozak of 5th Ave., Juniata, died at 10:32 a.m. yesterday, Aug. 31, 1977, in her automobile, which was in the parking lot of her physician, after suffering a heart attack.
Mrs. Kozak was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata.
She was born in Gallitzin, a daughter of Emanuel L. and Maude J.(Fornwalt) Steward, and was twice married, first to Frank M. Wertz, and then to John E. Kozak, both of whom preceded her in death.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Eleanor M. Thompson of King of Prussia, Bill(Skinny) of Juniata Gap and John of Juniata; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Maud J. Nale of Juniata.
Friends will be received in the Mauk & Yates Funeral HOme, Juniata, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and 10a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday when a service by the Rev. A. Donald Main will follow. Interment at Carson Valley Cenetery.

RECENT WEDDINGS Wertz - Steward.
On January 10, 1917, Mr. Frank M. Wertz, son of Mrs. Martha M. Wertz, Claysburg, and Miss Edna R. Steward, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Steward, of Hollidaysburg, were wedded yesterday morning at 11:45 o'clock by Rev. Marion Justus Kline, D.D., at the First Lutheran parsonage. The bridegroom is a Middle division fireman and his bride is an attractive and popular young woman. They will be at home to their friends at 1020 Fifth avenue, after January 20.
