Chris was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Debra J. Robb and David Lynn Adderly. He attended Albion Middle School, and was a very athletic boy that enjoyed all sports, especially soccer. He loved fishing, hiking, crawdad hunting and spending time at the lake with his family. He also enjoyed Jackie Chan movies, and playing basketball and football. He loved playing practical jokes on his family and friends, especially his beloved sister, Jennifer. He had a great sense of humor, using the picture of a pretty girl that came with his wallet to tell friends that she was his girlfriend. Always happy and loving life, he was a hard worker with a big smile and a heart of gold. He also loved music and his new Nintendo that he had received at Christmas. Chris was tragically killed in his home by his "friend", Brooks Colby Shumay, who showed no remorse at the trial, and was sentenced from 5 years to life in prison. Chris is survived by his mother, Debra J. Ray (John) Robb; his father, David Lynn Adderly; his sisters, Jennifer Marie Bozarth, and half-sister, Misty Adderly; step-brother, J.C. Robb; grandparents, Pete and Erma Simpson, John Clair and Dolores Robb; special uncle, Mark (Julie) Ray; special aunt, Pam Dawson; special cousins, Nicholas, Tim and Kaylee; and many other relatives and friends who loved him dearly. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman Ray, Cal Johnston, and Charles (Marvel) Adderly; a cousin, Doug Johnson; and an aunt, Carol Labrum. Funeral services were held at Valley View Funeral Home.
