Clovis, NM., -- Jan. 3—Funeral services for Hiriam I. Chambless, 74, of Clovis, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Steed Funeral Chapel here. Dr. Herbert Bergstrom, Baptist pastor here, will officiate. Burial will be in Lawn Haven Cemetery under the direction of Steed Funeral Home. Mr. Chambless died Sunday in his home, 1208 S. Lea. He had been a resident of Clovis for 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Lula; two sons, Hiram Jr. of Midwest City, Okla., and Cash Chambless of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Zelma St. Clair of Roswell and Mrs. Katherine Roberson of Norfolk, Va; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Clezle Walker of Detroit, Tex., and Mrs. Betty Fleming of Abernathy, Tex.; and a brother, W. F. Chambless of Paris, TX.
