Bud Allen, 56 years old, died at his home near Badger, Monday morning after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Otter Creek Separate Baptist Church by Rev. Swopes with burial in the church cemetery. He was a native of this county and was born on September 15, 1883. He was married 30 years ago to Miss Lizzie Underwood, who survives. He is survived by five daughters; Mrs. Etta Brewer, Louisville, Mrs. Dorotha Morris, of Larue County, Miss Icy Lee Allen, Miss Zelma Allen and Patty Ree Allen of Badger; three sons; Billie Joe , Lindsey and Kenneth Allen, of Badger; two sisters; Mrs. Becky Allen, Taylor County, Mrs. Rillie Stillwell, Larue County, one brother; three half-sisters; Mrs. Roxie Caulk, Mrs. Nellie Brewer, Mrs. Truman Lewis, Louisville; two half-brothers; Lee and Curtis Allen, of Louisville, and several grandchildren.
