My momma was a beautiful lady, inside and out. She loved her family, her home, her pets, and her church. Until she met and married my dad, she worked to support her mother, who was incapacitated by Rheumatoid Arthritis. Her mother's illness, and her father's early death, limited her educational attainments, but she had a great appreciation for art, literature, and music and could write poetry effortlessly.
Momma was very idealistic and always looked on the bright side of life. She taught me to love books and reading, and did her best to instill the love of Christ in all she encountered.
