WILLIAM CAMPBELL died 15 June 1828 "while on a visit to his friends in Washington Co. NY" (from Esther Campbell's deposition for pension)

He married 1795

ESTHER STEWART, who was born in 1767, daughter of SAMUEL and REBECCA (HENRY?) STEWART. Her first husband was NATHANIEL BUTTERFIELD, memorial # 38997483. NATHANIEL and ESTHER (STEWART) BUTTERFIELD were the parents of ELIJAH BUTTERFIELD.

Esther married (2) WILLIAM CAMPBELL. She died 10 September 1846 in Champion, Jefferson County, and is buried there.
