Clyde served in the Army during WW1 from May 1918 to Jul 7 1919 with the 7th Sanitary Train as PFC.

Clyde W. Bowser, 74, longtime
West Kittanning constable
and ex-servicemen's leader, died
early today at Torrance State
Hospital near Blairsville.
He was a past commander of
Kittanning posts of Veterans of
Foreign Wars (James Arthur
Ashe) and The American Legion
(Armstrong). The World War I
veteran was a charter member
also of West K i t t a n n i n g
Volunteer Fire Company, and a
member of Kittanning units of
the Elks fraternity, and Odd
Fellows lodge.
He was a retired carpenter, a
member of Kittanning Local of
the Carpenters Union, and a
constable of West Kittanning
Borough for 45 years.
