C.S. "Casey" Bowser Sr., 66, of Westerville, Ohio, died Friday, Jan. 17, 1992 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. He was born Sept. 20, 1925, in Adrian to Clarence Bowser and Christena (Wyant) Bowser Hepfl. A World War II U.S. Army veteran, he served as a captain with the 82nd Airborne. He was president of Stark Van Lines and was a life member of Franklin County Movers Association, Linden Lodge 637 F&AM, Aladdin Temple Shrine, Scottish Rite. Survivors include his wife, Ellen R. Bowser; a son, C.S. "Casey" Bowser Jr. of Gahanna, Ohio; a daughter, Ruth Bowser of Obetz, Ohio; a stepson, Dick Ronckovsky of Gahanna, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Diane (Ronckovsky) Rowe of Blacklick, Ohio; four brothers, William and James Bowser, both of Barbarton, Ohio, Paul Hepfl of Kittanning and Fred Hepfl of Cowansville; three stepbrothers, Joseph Hepfl of Ford City, Leo Hepfl of Marietta, Ga., and George Hepfl of Salinas, Cal.; two sisters, Mary (Bowser) Johns and Ruth (Bowser) Dunbar, both of Cowansville; six grandchildren; a great-grandson and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Joseph Hepfl; his first wife Crystal Bowser; a stepbrother, John Hepfl, and a stepsister, Margaret (Hepfl) Krotzer. Burial took place at Glen Rest Cemetery, Gahanna, Ohio. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Shriners Burn Institute, 202 Goodman St., Cincinnati, Ohio 45219.
