Robert E. Bowser
Robert E. Bowser, 79, of Manor died Friday (Dec. 26, 2003) in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin.
He was born July 19, 1924, in Mohawk.
A veteran, he served in the Army.
He worked 34 years at Preston Trucking before retiring.
Mr. Bowser was a member of Cowansville American Legion.
He enjoyed camping, spending winter months in Florida, snowmobiling and hunting deer.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Dorothy Shay Bowser; three sons, Robert G. Bowser of Kittanning, Richard E. Bowser of Butler and Randall J. Bowser; two brothers, Corbin Bowser and Larry Bowser, both of Worthington; and four sisters, Annabelle Benson and Betty Noll, both of Kittanning, Helen Rumbaugh of Zelienople and Maedawn Albright of Leechburg.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, Kristen, Brett, Shannon, Lexi, Seth Caleb and Mara Bowser; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mathias E. and Mildred Croyle Bowser.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Kittanning, where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. William King, pastor of Faith United Presbyterian Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, East Franklin.
