Birth: 1853
Box Elder County
Utah, USA
Death: 1867
Willard
Box Elder County
Utah, USA

Adopted daughter of Emeline Savage and Benjamin Waldron.

Her father was from Worcestershire, England. Her mother, born in Huron County Ohio, met and married her father at Kanesville, Iowa in 1849.

Benjamin had lost three wives to death by the year 1855, prior to his family moving to Willard. When he and Emeline had the opportunity to take little "Mananincy" (her Indian name) into their home, they were overjoyed.

Celestia was born on Bannock Tribal Lands in Box Elder County and was adopted by Benjamin and Emeline when seven years of age. She was a sweet, helpful girl and was very loved. In an act of kindness, she carried the other school children across a cold stream where a bridge had washed out and contacted pneumonia.
