Edward Glenn Vetter, 95, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord Tuesday, March 5, 2013. He was born February 18, 1918 in Muscatine, Iowa to the late Charles and Florence (Thompson) Vetter. Ed was a carpenter and a member of First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was an U.S. Army veteran and member of the VFW. Ed was active with his wife ministering to seniors, and for many years Ed ministered with compassion to grieving families.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Vetter; parents; five sisters; and one son Ronald Vetter.

Ed is survived by his sons , Doug Vetter (Linda) of Independence, Missouri, Thomas Vetter (Susie) of Wichita Falls, Texas and Dr. Rodney Masteller (Linda) of Shreveport, Louisiana; daughter Karen Duncan (Randy) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Service will be at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Rodney Masteller officiating.
