Let us not forget Sergeant Tommy Lee Barnes, casualty of the Vietnam War. As a member of the Army Selective Service, SGT Barnes served our country until February 10th, 1970 in Kontum, South Vietnam. He was 21 years old and was married. Tommy died from small arms fire/grenade. Tommy was born on June 19th, 1948 in La Grange, Georgia.

SGT Barnes is on panel 14W, line 119 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. He served our country for one year.
