OSBORNE - Services are pending at Clark Mortuary here for Capt. Harold L. Mischler, 26, Osborne, who was reported killed while flying a forward air control craft over Laos on Saturday. The Dept. of Defense said his plane was shot down.
Capt. Mischler was born Jan. 9, 1946 in Beloit and was a member of Hill Creek United Methodist Church in Osborne. He was a member of the Osborne Masonic Lodge.
He was graduated from Osborne High School in 1963 and attended Kansas Wesleyan University at Salina before graduating from the University of Kansas in 1968. He received officer's training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Tex.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Louis Mischler and 2 sisters, Mrs. Shirley Davis, Salina, and Mrs. Robert Sage, Rte. 7, Topeka.
