Son of Edwin Sherman Remick and Alice Corinne Bailey.

Roland enlisted in the United States Army 17 Jan 1942 and served his country during World War II.

Roland was Killed In Action, and was the recipient of the Purple Heart Medal.

He was a First Lieutenant in the 116th Infantry 29th Infantry Division.


Burial of Roland's remains are at Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Plot D, Row 4, Grave 16, Henri-Chapelle, Liege, Belgium.
