Floyd Randal “Randy” Magnus died Dec. 31, 2014, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Jan. 12, 1955, in Modesto Calif., he was employed by The Food Pantry of Kailua-Kona. He was previously employed by Na Leo Hawaii. He maintained the blog, “Kona Times,” and was a photographer.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Jan. 12 at Old Kona Airport Park, Pavilion No. 3 for a service. Attendees are asked to bring a food dish. Family requests casual attire be worn and flowers are welcome.
He is survived by sister, Marlaine Magnus Cox, sister-in-law, Gloria Magnus, one niece, one nephew.
