Dies; Rites Set
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday for Martin B. Bridley, 63. A resident at 312 Winter Ave., Mr. Bridley who has lived in Albert Lea the last 24 years, died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Naeve Hospital. He had been ill since having a stroke three weeks ago.
He was born Feb. 26, 1901 in Oakland Township, the son of Botolf and Mina Bridley. He attended schools in the Oakland Township. He farmed in the Myrtle area and came to Albert Lea in 1940. He has been employed while here at the Foundry Division of Queen's Products. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and the Eagle's Lodge.
He married Elizabeth Golnick at Haywood in 1928. She survives. Also surviving is a son, William, Minneapolis. three grandchildren, Jay Jody and Jed, survive.
Surviving brothers are: Olaf, Zimmerman; Norman and Robert, Austin; Joseph, Des Moines, Iowa; Clarence, Gordonsville and Orin, Albert Lea.
Sisters surviving are: Mrs. Raymond (Clara) Greengan, Glenville; Mrs. Emmett (Blanche) Ensrud, Luverne; Mrs. Palma Eckert, Des Moines; Mrs. Kenneth (Beatice) Stadhelm, Mrs. Leslie (Dagmar) Swenson and Mrs. Earl (Esther) Ruerup, all of Albert Lea.
Services will be at Salem Lutheran Church. The Rev. E. Oslund will officiate. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Garden. Freeborn Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
