George is mentioned in the probate records and Will of his wife's father. However, no one seems to know much else about him. It's very possible that he is buried in the same cemetery as his wife. Her tombstone is almost buried.
On the other hand, he may be buried elsewhere. His burial is unknown.
Died before 1830 Census.
George Hubbard, husband of Leticia Case Hubbard, is not buried in the Romulus
Memorial Cemetery (aka: Blair Cemetery); as she is interred in the Smith Family
plot, where her daughter "Leticia Smith"; first wife of Dr. John F Smith is
We estimate that George was alive in Trenton, Wayne County, Michigan from 1818
to at least 1823; as which time his family are found in the western portion of
Wayne County, Michigan. As the boundaries of the new territory changed, they
would eventually reside in the Ypsilanti Township of Washtenaw County; without
the benefit of moving.
George is no longer in the household by the 1830 census, where his widow Leticia
is listed as the head of household. So, we estimate that he died between 1823
and 1830, and is probably buried in either Washtenaw County, or Van Buren
Township in Western Wayne County.
