BONNIE GOTT
Bonnie Gott, a 61-year-old resident of Trenton, died at 8:45 p.m., Friday, April 25, 2008 at her home in Trenton, where she was under hospice care. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home of Trenton. Burial will be in the Edinburg IOOF Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled for 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2008 at the funeral home. Open visitation is under way. Mrs. Gott was born on July 18, 1946 in Trenton, the daughter of Floyd Thomas and Margaret Ellen Hughs Stanturf. She attended Spickard and Trenton schools. She was married on July 22, 1961 to George Gott at the Tenth Street Baptist Church in Trenton. She was a member of the Coon Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, George Gott, of the home; a son, Bill Gott and his wife, Kathy, of Trenton; four daughters, Debbie Harding and her husband, Duane, of Trenton, Becky Gott and her friend, Ronald Hughes, of Amite, LA, Teresa Coltrain and her husband, Bob, of Harris and Bonita Rodgers and her husband, Mark, of Abilene, TX; a brother, Tom Stanturf and his wife, Theresa, of Trenton; a sister, Anna Speed and her husband, Patrick, of Scotland; 15 grandchildren, Shelly, Ray, James, William, Katie, Dillon, Heaven, Jerry, Rhonda, Melinda, Chrystal, Nikita, Daniel, Sierra, and Tiffani; and six great-grandchildren, Austin, Alex, Ethan Adam, Hannah, Holly and Seth. She was preceded in death by her parents and a infant sister, Ruth Ellen Stanturf.
