Notes: Willoughby School Official Is Suicide. The body of Ralph Chambers, 60, of Willoughby Township, a leading Lake County farmer and member of the Willoughby Rural School Board and the Union School Board for ten years, was found in a field about a mile from his home on River Road, last night. A 10-gauge shotgun lay next to the body, according to Lake County Deputy Sheriffs Edward Dockery and Walter Sjo, who found the body after responding to the call of Chambers' family. Police said the death was a suicide, although the coroner will make an autopsy today. Mrs. Mary Chambers and her daughter, Hazel, called the sheriff's office after Mr. Chambers had left his home about 6 p. m. and had told them they need not look for him because he would not be back. They said he had been despondent recently. Mr. Chambers also was the Willoughby Township road supervisor. According to Lake County authorities, his son, Harry, then 16, committed suicide in 1920 because he did not like school. Mr. Chamber's body was removed to the James A.
