Josiah Scofield

Death: Aug. 13, 1790

Josiah Scofield was the son of Joshua Scofield (1693-1762) and Ruth Youngs (b. 1696) and not Nathaniel Scofield and Deborah Weed as listed here on Find a Grave site. There was also another Josiah Scofield born 26 Jun 1721 and died Aug 1801 who married Deborah Weed, he was the son of Nathaniel Scofield and Elizabeth Pettit. (my sources are the Ct, Town Marriage Records, pre 1870 Barbour Collection and Noroton River Cemetery (The Charles R. Hale Collection of Headstone Inscriptions) see link below:
