Mrs. Carrie R. Ashman, 82, of 325 N. 20th St., Murphysboro, died today at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro after a long illness.

She was born Sept. 9, 1887, in Carbondale, the daughter of William and Mary Bell Charles Trail. She was married to Jacob Robinson. She was then married to Chester Ashman. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Ashman was a member of the First Christian Church. She was owner and manager of Ashman Resale Shop.

She leaves sons, the Rev. Robert Ashman of Bloomington, Glen E. Robinson of Brookings, S. D., and Chester M. Ashman of Morristown, Tenn.; daughters, Mrs. Irene Stout of St. Louis, Mo.; and Mrs. Edith Federer of Springfield; ...
