Alice was born September 17, 1942 in Ardmore, Alabama to the late Jack and Velma Gatlin Mitchell of Ardmore. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Scott, two infant children, three sisters and five brothers.
Surviving relatives are her son, Chad Scott, daughter-in-law, Gail Scott; grandchildren, Jessica Scott and Matthew Scott of Dothan, Al; two brothers, Bobby Mitchell of Ardmore, Alabama and Richard Mitchell of Salt Lake City, Utah; three sisters, Elizabeth Sawyer of Nashville, TN, Nan Mealer of Ardmore Al and Connie Magnusson of Ardmore Al; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alice was my dad's sister.
