Dorothy V. Korte, 83, of Trenton, died Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at Faith Care Center in Highland.
She was born June 18, 1921 in St. Rose to Anton and Helena (Koerkenmeier) Steinmann; they preceded her in death.
She marred Raymond E. Korte on August 18, 1942 in St. Rose; he preceded her in death on July 4, 1980.
Also preceded in death by a grandson, David Korte, a great-grandson Brandon Cox, and sisters Veronica Steinmann and Regina Tebbe.
Surviving are sons Ray (Pat) Korte of Highland and Tom Korte of Trenton; Daughters Betty (Robert) Wren of Highland, Shirley (John) Bailey of Houston, TX, and Terri (Rand) Schwarz of Wimberley, TX; 9 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Brothers Frank Steinmann of Des Plaines, Edward Steinmann of Breese, and Leonard (Joyce) Steinmann of St. Rose; A sister Loretta (Wilbert) Koch of Breese.
Dorothy was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary Church and Altar Sodality.
Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at 10 AM at St. Mary Church in Trenton with Fr. James Dougherty officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton.
