Cassie was adopted from a garage sale. She was a beautiful cat. She loved being outside during the day and she always came home in the evening to sleep inside the garage.
Unfortunately our neighbor Betty Talbot, hates cats because she fed "wild" birds and Cassie would hang out in her yard to get the birds. So they trapped her and took her to the animal shelter. She knew it was our cat (she had a collar with a bell and her name and phone number)and there were several other cats (without collars) that also hung out at her house. We went down and paid to get her back, but we knew she would only trap her again. So we had no choice but to find Cassie a new home. She couldn't stay inside because of cat allergies.
So we searched and finally found her a new home. We found her a new home, but when she was let out to play, she was hit by a passing car and killed.
All because some OLD BIDDY named Betty Talbot didn't want cats in her yard. She refuses to put up a fence so her dog can chase the cats. To this day she still has cats in her yard. So in a round about way, "Ugly Betty" killed her.
I'm sorry your life was cut short Cassie.
We love you Cassie and Bailey misses you.
Cassie was only 1yr. 8 mos.
Cremated, Location of ashes is unknown.
