Eagle Creek resident, Genevieve Harding died at ther home on Friday, August 10th, 2001. She was 86.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 18, 2001, at the First Baptist Church in Estacada. Burial was held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Monday, August 20, 2001.
Genevieve Eileen McHoes was born on May 5, 1915 in Plaza, Washington to Frank and Myrtle (Peterson) McHoes.
She graduated from Rosalia, Washington High School in 1933. In 1936, she was united in marriage to Roy Tomlin. He preceded her in death in 1964. In 1967, Genevieve married Harold E. Harding. He preceded her in death in 1993.
Genevieve has resided in the Estacada and Eagle Creek areas since 1970.
Surviving is her son, Rodger Tomlin of Boring, daughter, Beverly Bacon of Eagle Creek; step son, Gerald "Joe Harding of Silverton; step daughters, Kay Hanson of Montague, California and Beverly Blamer of Scotts Mills, Oregon; brother, Robert McHoes of Spokane, Wash.; sisters, Louis Kirkpatrick of Chehalis, Wash, and Miriam Reding of Seattle, Wash.; 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
