Services for Tracey A. Anderson-Smith, 44, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry D. Brooks officiating.

Burial will be in City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Ossie Curry Funeral Home.

She died Friday, April 7, 2000, at University Medical Center.

She was born April 7, 1956, in Lubbock. She married Scott Smith in 1997 in Lubbock. She attended Lubbock public schools. She was a member of Lyons Chapel Baptist Church at an early age. She worked for telemarketing services.

Survivors include her husband; her mother, Bobbie Greenwood of Lubbock; her father and stepmother, the Rev. and Mrs. Johnny R. Stevens of Lubbock; two sons, Adrian D. Anderson of Onley, Colo., and Kedrick D. Anderson of Odessa; 11 sisters, Patsy Benjamin of Rosenberg, Comora Stewart of Houston, Kay Grant, Della Lockhart, Annie Poey, Ester Flowers, Deborah Maden and Demetric Green, all of Lubbock, Debra Stevens and Brenda Stevens, both of Arlington, and Elizabeth (Bot) Wilson of Monahans; four brothers, Edgar Allen Stevens of Odessa, Henry (Joby) Anderson, Robert Green Jr. and Lester Green, all of Lubbock; and five grandchildren.

A passing motorist discovered Anderson-Smith's body at about 4:10 a.m. in the 2200 block of Fifth Street. She'd suffered a half-inch gash to her forehead. It was her 44th birthday.
