OBITUARY Green Bay Press-Gazette Aug 31 2004 "Obituaries and Funerals: Connerton, Marie "Mickey" (Queoff)"
Marie "Mickey" (Queoff) Connerton died in the arms of Jesus with her beloved family at her side. She died at home on Sunday, Aug. 29, 2004, after a short illness. Mickey was born Feb. 27, 1922 in Green Bay, Wis. to the late Joseph and Celia (Johanski) Queoff. On Aug. 25, 1945 she married John "Jack" A. Connerton, her best friend and lifelong partner of 59 years. She was a graduate of Green Bay East High School and was a homemaker for many years and later worked for the DeKalb County Circuit Court until her retirement in 1990.
Mickey was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, always putting others before herself. Her unconditional love was abundant and her smile and sense of humor will live within our hearts forever. Her thoughtfulness by sending cards to others was felt by many. Her courageous spirit, inner strength and faith in God throughout the years have been an inspiration to all of us.
Mickey is survived by her husband Jack, Sycamore; two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Patricia Jorgensen, Norwalk, Conn., Kathleen Ann (Jeff) Hammes, Sycamore; five grandchildren, Brooke and Lauren Jorgensen, Norwalk, Conn., Jessica, Ginny and Christopher Hammes, Sycamore, Ill.; and one grand dog Teddy; four sisters, Agnes Schaut, Green Bay, Wis., Irene (Sister Joselie) Queoff, Stevens Point, Wis., Ceilie Scannell, DePere, Wis., Priscilla Herald, Green Bay, Wis.; and one brother and two sisters-in-law, Joseph and Bernadine Queoff and Dolly Queoff, all [rest is missing].
