SHAMROCK--The remains of Edward Benjamin, son of the late William F. and Elizabeth, nee Baer, Kerchner, well known at Topton, were laid to rest in the Union cemetery at Bowers, on Monday, March 21. All services were held in the funeral parlors of J. J. Schofer and son. The deceased was born at Topton, December 31, 1881, and died in Reading on Tuesday, March 15, aged 50 years, 2 months and 15 days. He was not married. There survive one sister and four brothers. The father was a church council officer for many years at Bowers.
