Crash was only our horse for 2 1/2 years but in those two years he taught us so much. He had been a Championship jumper and had won many awards before breaking his hock. Instead of putting him down, his previous owners nursed him back to health and retired him. He found his way to us. His name wasn't Crash, but it was his nickname as the first thing after being let out he'd run and "crash" in the mud. He would lick your face. I mean your whole face. He learned how to go and pick the apples off the tree instead of waiting for them to fall. When his companion Lily passed away he stood over her and nudged her. Every night for weeks he went to where she passed and stood naying for her. He taught all of us to never give up. He is missed so very much. We love you Crash!
