SERVICES SET SATURDAY FOR MARY M. COOK, 59
Mary M. Cook, 59, of Route 2, Jamestown died Thursday afternoon at Witham Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since Tuesday. Mrs. Cook had been seriously ill the past month.
Mrs. Cook was a native of Clinton County, born July 5, 1924 a daughter of elbert L. and Bessie May (Sears) Lloyd. She was reared and educated in Clinton County where she redied until several years aftr her marriage to Lester Cook. They were married near Marion, oct. 17, 1959 and he survives.
The couple moved to Boone County in 1964 and had rsided here since. Mrs. Cook had been a motor route carrier for The Reporter, The Indianapolis News and The Indianapolis Sunday Star the past six years. She was formerly employed in Frankfort at the Cigar factory and the American Laundry and in Lebanon in housekeeping at the Cedars Hotel and the County Seat.
She was a member of the First Pilgrims Holiness Church in frankfort and enjoyed flowers, gardening and animals and was devoted to her family.
In addition to the husband she leaves a son Ralph W. Lloyd of Lebanon; a sister Mrs. Russell (Cora) Warren of Kokomo; a grandson, a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. A brother Ellis Lloyd and a sister Omie Seabolt preceded her in death. Last rites are arranged for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Myers Chapel of memories with the Rev. Larry Gallaway officiating. Intrment is to be in New Ross cemetery.
