Patrick Clinton, one of the pioneer residents of Crawford county, passed away at his home south of Buck Grove on Monday, February 23d, at 9:30 p.m. after an illness of only a week's duration. Mr. Clinton has suffered considerably with asthma and only recently contracted a cold, which grew into pneumonia and all that medical aid and loving hands could do for him was of no avail.
The deceased was 76 years of age at the time of his death and leaves to mourn his death a beloved wife (Anna Warren Clinton) and six children, namely: Mrs. Anna Benton, Thomas Clinton, of Buck Grove; Mrs. Mary Laird, of this city; Charles Clinton, of Portland, Ore.; Michael and Miss Kate Clinton, at home. The Review joins with a host of friends in extending its heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family in this their hour of sorrow.
