Mrs. Mary Olive Larose LaMora, formerly a resident of Gouverneur and wife of Charles Roy LaMora passed away suddenly Friday evening of a heart attack at 9:30 o'clock at the home of her son, John LaMora in Black River.

Mrs. LaMora had been seriously ill for several years. She had been blind for thirty years, deaf for 24 years, and had a severe heart condition. She was 62 years of age.

Besides her husband, Mrs. LaMora is survived by her six sons and one daughter, Frances C. LaMora of Ogdensburg, George W. LaMora of Carthage, Royal B. LaMora of Los Angeles, Clarence F. LaMora of Gouverneur, John A LaMora of Black River, Richard L. LaMora of Detroit, and Mrs. George (Helen H.) Serviss of Gouverneur, three sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Helen) LaGray of Watertown, Mrs. Kenneth (Hilda) Earle of Watertown, Mrs. Floyd (Agnes) Dean of North Lawrence, two brothers, Orville LaRose of Brownville and Alfred LaRose of Dexter, a step-brother, Louis LaRose of Norwood, a half-brother, Gaylord LaRose of Watertown and an uncle, Philip LaRose, who is also her god father; sixteen grandchildren, and her step mother, Mrs. Lillian LaRose of Watertown.

Mrs. LaMora was born July 7, 1894 at Potsdam, the daughter of Joseph and Olive Cote LaRose. She was the oldest of 13 children. Mrs. LaMora was married to Charles Roy LaMora on January 31, 1910 at St. Mary's church in Potsdam.

Mrs. LaMora has lived in Potsdam, Watertown, Tupper Lake and Gouverneur the major part of her life. Since 1943 she had made her home with her children.

Tuesday, after a prayer service at John's home, Mrs. LaMora's body was brought to Gouverneur for her funeral at St. James Church with her six sons as bearers and her son-in-law as honor guard. Her burial was in Riverside Cemetery.

Married Charles Roy LaMora in St Mary's Church, Potsdam, on Jan. 30, 1913.
