Mr. Charles P. Preeman Sr., 68, a resident of Towpath Road, died Wednesday, Feb. 6 at Oswego Hospital, Oswego. Mr. Preeman was born March 17, 1933 in Mexico. He was a son of Newton E. and Mary E.(Vanderhaden) Preeman. Mr. Preeman retired from Will & Baumer Candle in Syracuse in 1997. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of VFW, Post 569, Fulton. He was predeceased by two brothers, Newton Preeman and Richard Preeman, and a sister, Mary Collett.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis of Phoenix; two daughters, Rosalieann and Charlene of Fulton; two sons, Charles P. Preeman Jr. and Jeremiah Preeman of Munnsville; three sisters, Florence Lockwood of Fulton, Betty Hooper of Fulton, and Dorothy Batemain of Maine; one brother, Robert Preeman of Red Creek; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the Young & Son Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.
