Glenn LeRoy Cochran was born in Davenport, Nebraska, January 10,
1885 and passed from this life on Sunday morning, November 8th,
1936, at Hastings, Nebr. Aged 51 years, 9 months, and 29 days.
On October 17, 1905, he was united in marriage to Bertha Mackey
at Wray, Colorado. They lived in Grand Island for 31 years.
For 25 years he has been in the employ of the Union Pacific Rail
Road. His parents preceded him in death, his mother July 20, 1904;
his father, January 24, 1928.
He leaves his wife, two sons, Hoye and Efflo, both of Omaha, and
one daughter Mrs. Gwendolen Kunce of Grand Island. He also leaves
three brothers, William of Hastings, Charlie of Davenport, and Elmer
of Grand Island. One sister, Mrs. Mollie Walters of Ravenna, Nebr., and

Funeral services were held from the Davenport Methodist church on
Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 10, at 1: 00 o' clock with the Rev. C. M. Mc-
Corkle in charge. The theme used was "None but Christ," Text John 6:68.
Interment was in the local cemetery.
