Billie "Rae" Pierce Adams, 80, passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009. She retired from the Texas Employment Commission as an employment counselor.
Memorial service: 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, Colleyville. Interment: 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, in Hillside Memorial Gardens, Snyder.

Rae was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Newton and Camma Pearl Sessions Pierce, and a brother, Alvin J.N. Pierce.
Survivors: Daughter, Beth B. Chambers of Berryville, Va.; stepson, Joe Mark Adams of Midland; sister, Alice Fuller; sister-in-law, Susie Pierce, both of Grapevine; one niece; and six grandchildren.
