Adeline Catherine was born on March 29, 1862 in Vienna, NY, the 3rd of 10 living children and moved to Cleveland with her family when she was 18. Her parents were Paul & Mary Ann (Bellman) Bernhard.
Addie was 24 when she married John Bohland in 1886 in Cleveland.
They had a son Francis Paul born in Feb. 1888 when she was 26 and John was 25.
They lived at 18100 Landseer Rd. in Cleveland where John died in Jan. 1932 when he was 68.
Addie was 83 when she died on Aug. 23, 1945 -- 13 years after John and had lived at Amasa Stone House for 7 years She suffered from arterosclerossis and died from heart failure.
A wake was held at the J.H. Brown Funeral Home at 8128 Carnegie. Services was held Sat. Aug. 25th in the mausoleum.
She is buried at Knollwood Cemetery in the Mausoleum, Sec. A, Crypt 16 along with John in Crypt 17.
She either gave or sold her house to her brother Bloom as he was living there when he died in 1961.

ADELINE CATHERINE BOHLAND, had been residing at Amasa Stone House, 975 East Boulvard, Cleveland for 7 years where she died on Aug. 23, 1945 from arteriosclerosis resulting in a coronary occlusion at 83 yrs, 4 mos, 25 days. Interment at Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Hts.
Informant was Florence Guthrie of Amasa House. She reported Addie was born in Rome, NY on Mar. 29, 1862. Her parents were Paul Bernhard and Mary Ann Bellman, both born in Germany.
