In 1962 Michael moved to Guy Carpenter's San Francisco office where he spent the next 30 years before retiring as an executive vice president in 1991. Mike loved to relax by taking many beach vacations in Hawaii and the Caribbean. He also enjoyed swimming, taking a long walk along the waterfront in Tiburon or Sausalito and savoring a fine meal.
Michael adored his wife Helen, and was a loving, supportive and generous father to his two children. Helen made his final years as comfortable as possible by visiting Michael twice a day at his nursing home in Tiburon.
The Cooper family is deeply grateful to the wonderful, caring, and professional staff at Marin Convalescent in Tiburon.
