KAY, Irving - In San Francisco on November 9, 2005, at age 90. He was born in Jersey City, NJ, and came to San Francisco at age 19 where he met and married Ida Sankowich. Since her death 13 years ago his loving and devoted companion has been Doris Cherin. He is survived by his son, Judge Laurence Kay and wife, Heather; his daughter, Lenore Bleadon and husband, Charles; his grandchildren, Barbara, Karen and Deborah and their husbands, Peter Littman, J.W. Fry and Paolo Fraschetti; and his great-grandchildren, Felicia Castriota, Abigail Fry and Sarah Fraschetti. Irving was successful in homebuilding and commercial real estate in the Bay Area. He was a long time member of the Concordia - Argonaut Club and an avid bridge player. Services will be held on Sunday, Nov. 13th at 1:30 p.m. at Sinai Memorial Chapel, 1501 Divisadero St., SF. Donations may be made to the Jewish Community Federation, 121 Steuart St., SF 94105 or the charity of your choice. Burial Unknown Specifically San Francisco.
