Mrs. Weslow passed away at the age of 68, and had resided in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, with her husband for the past ten years. She had previously lived in Trenton, Michigan. She was a daughter of Ray Vincent Gipple and Margaret Davis (nee McMurrey) Gipple. She was survived by her cherished husband, Wayne A. Weslow, and they had been married for 46 years. Devoted mother of two sons. Beloved grandmother of two granddaughters. She will also be deeply missed by her father, a sister, a brother, and her aunt. She graduated from Ohio Northern University after earning a bachelor's degree, and with a master's degree from Eastern Michigan University. She taught Honors English at both Aquinas and Riverview High Schools for a period of twenty years before her 1997 retirement.
She belonged to the Soroptimist International, and also tirelessly volunteered with various civic organizations in Lee County, FL. She enjoyed reading, gardening, & creating custom greeting cards. She was a very devoted grandmother.
The Mass of Christian Burial at Church of the Ascension, in Fort Myers Beach, FL. At a later time, services and burial will take place in Michigan.
