Loving father of Sharon (Tom) Thomason and David (Beverly) Hoitsma. Cherished grandfather of six and great-grandfather of 15. Dearest brother of Jane (late Clarence) Miltzow, Gladys (Ted) Persenaire, Muriel (Phil) Wideman and the late Frank (late Eleanor), William (late Rose), Helen (Bob) Borgman. Devoted son-in-law of Lena Hawley. Fond brother-in-law of Paul (Sandy) Battaglia. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday from 3-9 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. &Harlem) Orland Park, IL 60462. Memorial Service Tuesday 11:30 a.m. at Palos Heights Christian Reformed Church, 7059 W. 127th St., Palos Heights, IL 60463. Interment private Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Memorials to Elim Christian Services preferred.
