Rites Held for Elizabeth Rose
Mrs. Elizabeth Rose, 64, of Sage Township died Sunday Nov 19 in the Gladwin Hospital following an illness of serveral weeks.
Born in Chatham, Mass, on Nov 25, 1902, she came to Gladwin County seven years ago from Flint.
The former Elizabeth Bloomer, she was married to Reuben W Rose on Dec 8, 1917 in Flint.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother and step father, Mr and Mrs. Lawrence Mayhew of Clare; two sons, Reuben of Gladwin and Raymond of Clio; 10 grandchildren and 8 (great) grandchildren.
Rites were held Tuesday at 1 pm from Miner Chapel. The Rev. F. E. Voller officated and burial was in Highland Cemetery.
