Jesse Martin "Bud" Deloach is the son of Joseph Asa DeLoach and Sarah Durrence. He is my GG Grandfather.

Bud first married Carrie/Mary. A marriage record for May 24, 1900, list her name as Carrie Surrency, yet my grandmother said her name was Carrie Black. She was listed as Carrie B in the 1900 Tattnall County, GA Census and the 1910 Tattnall County, GA Census list her as Mary C. I have found nothing about her after the 1910 census.

They had 5 children -
Curtis, who died as a young child after drinking some moonshine he had found.

Maude (married Frank Buelt & Lon Barnes) buried in Savannah, Chatham County, GA, No children, but adopted two family members daughters, Juanita and Linda.

Willi Jo (first married Louis Preston Moody, second married William T "Skip" Johns). Willi Jo, Louis P. Moody and William T. Skip Johns are all buried in Little Flock Cemetery, Tattnall County, GA

Sally Kate, (married Jas. R. Boone & Fred Rasmussen), buried in Mt. Olive Catholic Cemetery in St. Louis. Missouri

Edna (married John L. Anderson), buried in Beard's Creek Cemetery in Tattnall County, GA

Bud married Minnie Varnadoe on November 16, 1913. They had no children.

Bud married Alma Brown On October 21, 1927 in Tattnall County, GA. Bud is buried next to Alma.

William DeLoach Sr is the son of:
Michael Desloges (DeLoach), born about 1645 in France or England. He died in 1698 in Isle of Wrights, VA New Port Parrish. He immigrated from either France or England, though reseach says he was part of a French Huguenot refugee family. He arrived in Virginia in 1663, sailing from Bristol, England. He arrived as an indentured servant to Charles Taplady and served as a Tailor. It is believed that all persons in the United States with the surname of DeLoach, DeLoache, DeLoatch, or any of the other variant spellings, is a descendant of Michel DesLoges.

Jane Griffith, the only child of Rowland Griffith, a wealthy landowner. She was born about 1650 in Isle of Wrights, VA New Port Parrish and died About 1719 in Isle of Wrights, VA New Port Parrish. Jane and Micheal married about 1668 in Isle of Wrights, VA New Port Parrish.
