The only name he ever used that we know of was Skip. He was from Templeton, Massachusetts. His step-father was from Canada and had the last name of Gillis, but he and Skip's mother lived in the Roxbury area. He never spoke of his biological father. We know that he had a daughter, but that he had no idea where she was at. He worked as a tire retreader. He was my step-great grandfather.
