Thomas Charles Fleming, beloved husband of Jane (Smith) Fleming, died peacefully in his home on Wednesday, December 2nd. Born in Derby, Tom was the son of the late Ruth Rumble Fleming and Thomas Fleming and spent his childhood in Meriden.

Tom married Jane and they moved to Middletown where they raised three sons, Tyler of Louisville, KY, Adam of Middletown and Benjamin of Cromwell. He is also survived by two wonderful daughters-in-law, Fabricia and Denise, and three adored grandchildren, Aidan, Lily and Clara and his in-laws, who considered him a brother. They include Peter Smith, Rebecca Bates, Scott Smith, Jonathan Smith, and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his granddaughter, Emma.

Tom worked for NAPA auto parts for 45 years, and he leaves behind many beloved friends and customers. He loved his family, his friends, the Yankees, playing golf, UCONN basketball and Jerry's Pizza. He will be remembered for his work ethic, sense of humor and selfless nature.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 9th at 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 10 Elm Street, Middletown with interment at the family's convenience.
