She married Floyd Maxwell on Feb. 9, 1945, in Boone County. Mr. Maxwell died May 13, 1981.
Mrs. Maxwell worked at Commercial Filters for 16 1/2 years, retiring in 1978. She worked at Sparkle Kleen Laundry for six years.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, doing housework, bowling and traveling. Mrs. Maxwell was a member of the Nazarene Church in Lebanon.
Survivors include daughters, Bonnie Twitty, Connie Taylor and Sandra Sutphin, all of Lebanon; sons, John Maxwell of Spencer and Larry Maxwell of Lebanon; and brother, Gene Neese of Lebanon. She had 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth Neese, Chester Neese, Charles Neese, John Neese and Bill Neese.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, 223 N. Meridian St., Lebanon. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Burdette officiating. Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County.
